This is a list of questions that have been asked. If an answer is available, it will be listed with the question.

  • What is the time table for the move?
    • It's being worked on as time is available. Because this isn't a funded project, we cannot hire people and hold them to a schedule. In addition we want it done RIGHT and not RIGHT NOW.
  • Why are we doing this?
    • Multiple reasons, including not being beholden to WikiDot, and certain stability issues with WikiDot.
  • Who is involved?
    • We have our top people on this.
  • Who specifically is involved?
    • Our top people.
  • What will be moved?
    • Every article from the main site will be moved.
  • Will the forums be moved?
    • Doubtful. Which means if there is something cool in there you better grab it now!
  • What about the ancillary sites? What about Wanders Library, the Front Sites, etc.?
    • not yet answered
  • What will it look like?
    • Something like this. Of course, since CSS is trivial to change, getting bogged down by colors, fonts, text placement, etc. is silly. We should be able to eventually have a variety of different "templates" that can be applied at will.
  • What is this going to cost? Any idea how much?
    • Due to a number of factors, it's still up in the air, and will depend on the final hosting solution that is settled on. There may be an initial cost. There will be a recurring cost.
  • Where will the money come from?
    • Funding is currently from donations. At this time there are no plans for membership dues and we hope never to have any dues. There is the possibility of a storefront, donation drives, and other funding means.
  • Are donations tax deductible?
    • NO. We are NOT set up as a 501(c)31. We are looking into it, and the possibility of setting up an LLC2.
